Wall panels

The Stresscrete Wall Panel System is primarily designed to be used as an exterior wall cladding for industrial buildings where long term maintenance and speed of construction is important. The Stresscrete Wall Panel System consists of precast concrete panels manufactured in our factory.

These have a natural finish which is dense and water resistant. A finish compatible with paints suitable for concrete surfaces can be provided if requested at time of order. Other surface textures, such as an exposed aggregate finish can be manufactured. Standard edge details are suitable for the application of proprietary sealants.

TRANSPORT

Wall panels are transported to the building site on their edge on “A” frames, or may be transported flat if the design allows.

ERECTION

Wall panels should be lifted from the truck, rotated if necessary, and placed in position on the structure by the lifting points provided.

PROPPING AND DEPROPPING

While the panel is still attached to the crane, the panel should be temporarily propped in its final position, depropping should take place on the Engineers instruction.

FIXING

The Stresscrete Wall Panel System is able to be used with most proprietary fixing hardware. If Stresscrete carries out the design, we will design a system to suit your building’s requirements.

TERRITORIAL AUTHORITY BUILDING CONSENT

After receiving an order to supply a Stresscrete Wall Panel system, we can supply a Producer Statement for both design (if we are carrying out the design) and manufacture.

Stresscrete, through its design team, can provide a design (with some information from your engineer) to incorporate the best of the Wall Panel System within the structural requirements of your building. Our experienced and qualified staff are available to answer any questions about Stresscrete’s building products. Panels can also be used with horizontal joints using special weatherproofing details.
