Stresscrete manufacture:
FARM BRIDGES
Stresscrete bridges are designed to be permanent and safe structures.
All our bridge decks are specifically designed by our in-house engineers
to suit the client's span and loading requirements. We recommend a local
registered engineer be engaged to design the foundations and carry out any
site investigation necessary for a building consent application. Our farm
bridges are built with the same attention to detail and quality of workmanship
that our motorway bridges are constructed.
With a Stresscrete farm bridge you are investing in a quality, permanent,
durable bridge.
SILAGE / MAIZE BUNKERS
Our modular system allows Stresscrete silage bunkers to be customised
to each client. Our precast panels are 2995mm long and x 1200mm or 1800mm
high. The buttresses are made accordingly with the finished height. The
precast units are manufactured in our factories and delivered to the farm,
erected and in most cases a concrete floor is poured to complete the structure.
COWSHEDS / COWSHED PITS
Stresscrete can produce precast panels in a variety of sizes for cowsheds.
Concrete is advantageous because of its durability, and the ease of cleaning
up after milking. The cowshed pits are modular – 800mm high, 1800mm wide
internally and 2000mm long. They are cast so as to provide the farmers with
a non-slip surface.
CATTLE RESTRAINTS
Stresscrete manufacture modular concrete cattle restraints – each unit
is 1800mm x 1800mm and are designed so the farmers can place them using
a tractor. We recommend two units placed alongside each other to create
a 3.6m wide x 1.8m deep entrance way. The cattle restraints are easy to
install – we recommend placing the units straight on to a flat surface with
aggregate placed to create ramps. These are permanent structures that will
withstand truck crossing and restrain any cattle.
